Well look at it this way… Boston is the higher-education capital of the US. Anti-intellectualism is and always has been the hallmark of the fascist. He’s just pandering to his constituency with comments like this. His attempt to link the conduct of Catholic priests to Boston’s left-leaning political tendencies are weak at best, and I think most people will see right through it.
