I would like to gently point out to John at The Chimes at Midnight that the likely reason he has not been contacted to speak to Deval Patrick is probably the same reason he wasn’t on my recent MA blogger distribution list: we can’t find his email anywhere on his site to contact him, and he doesn’t allow comments so you can’t get him to contact you.
If he reads this, I would like to invite him (and any other local active [political] MA blogger who doesn’t post their email address) to send me an email (lynne *at* leftinlowell dot com) because I think he and they would be interested in the little blogging thing I’m helping to plan. (Shhhh, it’s a “secret” for now, only because nothing is set in stone, but I promise to let you all know very soon!)

I was at Deval’s page a little while ago and saw that there are campaign meet-ups going on in different cities across the state. Is there anything going on here in Lowell yet?

I’m not aware of any…it looks like regular “meetup.com” type meetups, so my guess is anyone can start one, then you send the info to the campaign.
There’s one in Lexington, which isn’t too far away, either.

I wouldn’t know what questions to ask Deval Patrick that haven’t already been asked. You and sco and BMG have been very thorough.
I’m really glad that his campaign is reaching out to the local blogsphere. I just wished that more people read the blogs. I was at a Deval Patrick volunteer organizational-type meeting earlier this month and John Walsh, his campaign manager asked how many of us read the blogs - of 25 or so people, I was the only person that raised their hand. You’d think DP supporters would be more savvy that way.
I gave out a lot of website addresses that night, including yours, Lynne.

That’s the only way we’re going to get the word out, Mariposa, the old fashioned way…BTW, I need to send you an email.
I just noticed on the other thread for the first time that you’re a blogger too. *smacks forhead* How dumb can I be???

You know, I think they all do, they’re just afraid to admit it.
Seriously, I do hope more folks will tune in as the governor’s race approaches… should be interesting. And thanks for noticing, Mariposa.
