Well, proof we used them in Fallujah, anyway:
Powerful new evidence emerged yesterday that the United States dropped massive quantities of white phosphorus on the Iraqi city of Fallujah during the attack on the city in November 2004, killing insurgents and civilians with the appalling burns that are the signature of this weapon.
But now new information has surfaced, including hideous photographs and videos and interviews with American soldiers who took part in the Fallujah attack, which provides graphic proof that phosphorus shells were widely deployed in the city as a weapon.
Photographs on the website of RaiTG24, the broadcaster’s 24-hours news channel, www.rainews24.it, show exactly what the former soldier means. Provided by the Studies Centre of Human Rights in Fallujah, dozens of high-quality, colour close-ups show bodies of Fallujah residents, some still in their beds, whose clothes remain largely intact but whose skin has been dissolved or caramelised or turned the consistency of leather by the shells.
I can’t STAND the hypocracy anymore. My head is going to explode. No, really.

I dunno why getting hit with phosphorous is any worse than being hit by a grenade or a machine gun.
Urban combat, civilians get killed.. that’s why war is terrible. But I don’t think this story is indicative of any misconduct or evilness by US troops.

Oh please.
Not even going to waste an explanation on you for that one. If you can’t see why it’s terrible, then trying to tell you will be like walking into a brick wall. First, it’s not about the troops, it’s about the people in command of them.
Methinks I have my first major troll commenter…someone who not only think different than the majority of my readers or myself, but someone who will be rude about it.
You’re perfectly allowed to be rude, but since it’s my blog, don’t think I’m going to let you do it without a fight.
