I want to thank everyone who came to BlogLeft Massachusetts this weekend in Worcester (see? I CAN spell it right if I try!). I especially want to thank Susan of Beyond 495, she has been an incredible help through all this planning and implementing. Next up in my list of thanks is a thank you to our keynote speakers, Stirling Newberry and Frederick Clarkson. I recommend checking out the first liveblogging thread at Political Cortex for highlights from livebloggers on their talks. Then I’d like to thank Kate Donaghue from the MA Dem party (co-chair of field services) and Jon Garfunkel (as well as Stirling) for heading up great breakout groups (liveblogged at the above PC link and continued here). Thanks to Chris of LeftCenterLeft and Mike of Marry in Massachusetts for driving all the way up here for very productive planning meetings. And finally, thanks to Andy of MassRevolutionNow! for being our MC/facilitator, a job I wasn’t relishing in the least. I hate microphones!
Jon G. has a post up (very comprehensive, thanks Jon!) so go read it.
Some time this week, all the blog posts, conference notes (we had note takers!), and brainstorm ideas which I promised to type up and deliver will be centrally posted as a resource to all those who attended, and to those who didn’t. Oh and I promise a photo gallery as well and a much more comprehensive post about the experience.
(Tonight, by the way, is still Drinking Liberally Lowell, so please join us at 7:30, The Brewery Exchange, second floor, 201 Cabot St.)
