First, I wanted to say congrats to the Lowell-area Dems who were chosen to be add-on delegates to the state convention in June. Congratulations to Carrie Little, Richard Douglas, and Danny Chum of Lowell; Michael Pagones and George Panas of Dracut, Harold Daley of Tyngsboro; Scott Scholefeldt of Pepperell; and Mark Shack of Groton!
And upcoming political events of note: Tomorrow’s GLAD 8am breakfast includes visits from Dr. Sam Kelley and Andrea Silbert, candidates for Lt. Governor, and City Councilor Michael Sullivan, candidate for Middlesex Clerk Magistrate. Also, if you come to the GLAD breakfast, you will get a sneak peak at what we bloggers and local GLAD and LDCC members have cooking for May (trust me, it’s very cool, and you won’t want to miss it!) Yes, I know, I’m a tease…but I like to start a buzz.
And April 22 is the next meeting of the Lowell Democratic City Committee (the official Dem party in town) for its reorganization meeting. Non-members can’t vote, but if you want to become a member, this is the place you should be.
Tewksbury Dem Town Committee holds its reorg meeting on April 15th.

Thank you Lynne =)
I can’t wait for the state convention, this whole process of getting involved with the Democrats has been pretty exciting so far.
