Media Forum in Lowell April 7

by at 3:49 pm.

There will be a one-day gathering of educators, students, journalists, bloggers and other media junkies at the one-day media conference, The New(s) England Revolution: From Politics to Courtroom to Classroom. Topics range from the place of blogs and new media in journalism, to protection of journalists and bloggers, and evolving case studies, to how to bring it all together in the classroom, the newsroom, and the living room.

It’s a day of media and new media navel gazing and it should be really cool! Read up at the link above for more detail.

Best Thoughts to the Patricks

by at 3:17 pm.

My own personal life in a whirlwind and my blogging and news consumption in a lull right now, I only today read about Diane Patrick. My most positive and good thoughts to her and her family for a strong recovery.

There’s many other things I want to say, so many that it’s really hard to sit down and write them. Suffice it to say, I hope that everyone can give it a rest in terms of shrillity today and to look to their own lives and families and remember how precious they are.
