I’m off to play in the water. You all have a nice day, stay out of the heat! This is your friendly neighborhood open thread for the day.

So, I couldn’t make it on my air conditioner. I was absolutely dying as soon as my dog woke me up this morning and just had to budge. However, I found a loophole: I only put the air conditioner in downstairs… not in my bedroom. That flies for a Republican, at least, doesn’t it? I’m still saving the environment, right?

Ryan, truth be told, I didn’t say anything about ACs when you brought it up last night on the podcast because I had run around right before the ‘cast putting the one in the bedroom in, because I needed the quiet room to ‘cast from and it was too dang hot! *sheepish*

I hope it’s a little cooler tomorrow after this evening’s thundershowers.
I hope lots of readers of this blog will show up at the Coalition for a Better Acre (CBA) Board meeting tomorrow night (Thurs. June 28, 5:30 pm, 517 Moody St., 3rd Floor) to support the reinstatement of Darcie Boyer and Lindolfo Carballo, who were fired (unjustly in my opinion) on June 12. 500 signatures appear on a petition to this effect, which will be presented to the Board Thursday night. These people were the sparkplugs of CBA’s activist culture, without which CBA would be just a landlord.
