I’m under the weather (caught the hubby’s cold) plus busy, so here’s an open thread for your amusement. People are around approving comments (yes, we’re still doing that). Actually, that’s working out nicely, because truthfully, we’re now catching that last 10% of comment spam that gets through the spam filter, which is great. Honestly, until we do the whole registration thing, I think we’ll keep moderation on, if only for that reason.
(Update: If you haven’t heard, there’s a hostage situation at a Rochester, NH Clinton field office…a man claiming to have a bomb strapped to his chest has taken two hostages there. I used to live not far from there, and I hope this ends peacefully.)

Am I correct the the Lowell Center City organization website does not come through properly on a Mac? Can get to it through Explorer on my parallels side, but I like Safari much, much more. Any technical tip would be appreciated.

The Center City site doesn’t work well on Firefox either.

what happened to the Hamilton Canal vision session thread?

It apparently went into draft mode, no idea how. I’ve republished it.

RE the City Center website: since I use Firefox I just thought the site was only made up of the (useless) header. LOL. Yes, the website does not work in anything other than IE, it needs updating.
It looks like it uses frames, no idea why they don’t work in other than IE off hand. However, it’s a very old site with very old code, so it’s not surprising.

Carrie and I had a wonderful dinner last night at Tepthida Khmer — the relatively new Cambodian restaurant on Chelmsford Street. Neat, modern decor; plenty of parking; friendly, helpful staff; fantastic food — all sorts of amazing flavors, generous portions; and quite reasonable prices, to boot.
One thing to bear in mind if you go: the soup and salad selections are entree-sized portions. If you want a starter, stick to the appetizers. (Many great choices there!)

Oh, and they do have a web site, too: http://www.tepthida.com/

Happy 30th Carrie; sorry, I missed the party. I heard it was great. Did the LiL delegation behave?

Yes Mimi, we behaved!

If the worst thing you hear about a restaurant is that they give you too much soup, it’s probably worth checking out.
Thanks for the tip.
