Today we’ll be talking to School Committee member Jackie Doherty, particularly about our new school superintendent, how the process worked and didn’t work, and where we as a school district go from here. It should be a lively and interesting interview. Listen on WUML 91.5FM, or stream it live over the web.

Now that we have had a bizarre little diversion, can we get back to the original question.
So what did she say?
A live stream might be fine if you find out about if before airtime, but I don’t see any podcasts on the website.

A lot of things. Sorry, it was a whole interview, is there something particular you want to know? I’m supposed to give you a summary? If you really want to listen, I’ll get the MP3 from my co-host and post it if I have a moment.

What interests me?
• our new school superintendent,
• how the process worked and didn’t work,
• and where we as a school district go from here.
You do a great job of whetting my appetite.

OK, I’ll see if I can post the MP3. My cohost always records the show. (If I forget, email me, lynne at leftinlowell.com…I’m no where near my email right now so I might forget tomorrow.)

Oh as as to what Jackie talked about RE the new super, she did talk at length about her background and work experience. I’m pretty optimistic about our schools after the interview.
