I’m working on deadline today, as well as trying to get through the chaos of moving (my office) so consider this your open thread for the day.
Also, please send good thoughts my grandmother’s way as she heads to the hospital this week to try and fix her heart troubles. Although the procedure isn’t invasive, she has just about reached the venerable age of 90 and anything is a risk. We’re hopeful that this procedure will bring her back some of her old vitality and strength. My grandmother is a gentle, kind and caring matriarch and I’ve been fortunate to have both my mother’s parents nearby my whole life. They just celebrated their 64th anniversary this weekend, too, so we want to see them through many more healthy and vital years together.
LiL also sends best wishes for health to the Kennedy family as Senator Kennedy undergoes surgery for the brain tumor. Good luck, Senator!

The Billerica Watchers is holding an informational session June 3rd at 7:00pm in the Billerica Town Hall Auditorium. There will be some experts in attendance. The officials of Billerica and surrounding towns were invited, as well as the proponents.
ALL are welcome to come and try to get your questions answered. The event will be moderated and recorded.
I feel that anyway that the public can get information about this project is a great way.

The 119 Gallery will be showing two public domain movies on Wednesday (”She Gods of Shark Reef” and “The Phantom Creeps”).
These are both truly horrible movies and therefore it should be a fun evening. This should not be seen as an attempt at culture, although if anyone on this board has made a small film or documentary and is looking for a digital screening room this is probably a good time to drop by and see if you’re interested in using the space.
119 Chelmsford St, Lowell
$5 Suggested Donation.
Starts @ 8pm.
This event is produced by Random Access Theatre (RAT).
