Want a good laugh?

by at 6:29 pm.

Some of you who regularly frequent richardhowe.com, may have read Dick’s post on the return of Mr.MillCity.com to the Lowell blog roll

As Dick pointed out, one of millcity’s regular feature, Backtalk All-Stars, provides answers to selected comments that are made on the Sun’s Backtalk section. I cracked up laughing as I was reading the post. Here are couple of samples:

Back Talk Comment: “(PLAYING FAIR) The town of Shirley wants to change real-estate companies for their ‘For Sales’ signs. Why not charge the politicians for their political signs at election time? Westford.”
MrMillCity Reponse: “Where the hell is Shirley?”

Back Talk Comment: (OVERPAYING) I think it is disgusting that we Massachusetts non-residents taxpayers pay as much in taxes to the State of Massachusetts as we do to the federal government. Pelham, NH.”
MrMillCityResponse: “Overpaying, I think you are disgusting. Its people like you that make Toll Booths on 93 seem like the best idea ever. You don’t like MA income tax? Pack up your desk and get the hell out. After all, the only thing worse than listening to Massholes whine about taxes is listening to the ‘Live Free or Die’ crowd venting about in local papers.”

Those two guys are funny, often their posts are filled with sarcastic humor but they do also touch upon varied subjects, both local and national. Mark, who posts on that site was on the air with me on a WCAP Monday morning bloggers segment. His politics are more like Shawn’s than mine but like all good bloggers, there is passion in his views. If you have not already done so, check them out! You cannot leave comments on their blog yet; they are in the process of updating their site, as we are, right Lynne. :-)
