City Councilor Jim Milinazzo will be interviewed tomorrow morning, on WCAP 980 AM. CC Milinazzo’s segment will take place during the regular schedule bloggers’ segment. I am sure Mark at mrmillcity.com will join me and happily give up this week radio appearance for this important interview.
I am sure co-hosts Ted Panos and Jack Baldwin will focus on CC Milinazzo’s motion requesting that an independent entity looks into the “Andy Sheehan vote.”
The interview will begin around 7:10 a.m. And Iknow phone calls are always welcomed.

Darn… sorry I missed it. I presume, the interviewers will ask their usually deep and riveting questions interspersed with inane giggling.

Mimi, I am not able to listen at work. Could you please post a summary when you have chance? Thanks

I don’t know if anyone heard it I but accidently hit the wrong preset and got WCAP and Rita Mercier was on and was downright nasty about the motion. She said that she can’t believe a colleague would have the gall to have themselves investigated but she is glad that he finally made a motion that wasn’t a motion to adjourn.
The interesting thing is that the hosts just let her ramble about nothing and then when they had less than a minute left, they asked her about it and at first she acted like she didn’t know about it.
She is a piece of work and definitely has to be first on the list to get out of there.

Wow, Jack, nice catch.
I can’t believe she has the gall to be galled. She needs to answer one simple question: Does she, or does she not, believe in the Plan E Charter of Lowell? If she does, does she really believe that she is not in violation of its spirit and possibly its laws with her personal and public attacks on employees under the jurisdiction of the City Manager?

It was a complete accident. I was trying to change the station to hear some mindless sports talk and ended up hearing this. It was sickening.

I heard part of the interview on WCAP. I applaud Millinazzo for putting the motion on the city council agenda. Rita & Company should not be afraid, since they claim, they’ve done no wrong.
I plan to attend tomorrow night’s city council meeting.
