Fred Doyle is amusing, but knowing his history, eccentricities and conspiratorial bent; you wouldn’t want to actually vote for him. Mr. Doyle’s glass is continually half empty and he believes that nearly every political leader is thoroughly and completely dirty. Did I mention the grassy knoll?

You are usually right on target but grizzled is right. Fred Doyle is a bomb thrower whose antics lower the level of political discourse. We have serious issues in the City. No time for amusing, raconteur-ish candidates that suck votes away from serious and thoughtful candidates. BTW, there has been plenty of discussion by the CM and CC about health insurance. The hurdle is state laws that prevent the City from making changes.

Having been at this conversation this past Wednesday, I would have appreciated if he actually answered the any of questions that I asked of him. As a voter, I wanted his take on certain issues. Couldn’t get one straight answer.
I’ve looked at his website and have taken a look at his “issues” and can drive a Mac Truck through much of his reasoning. (I’m not saying anything here, that I did not say to Fred directly)

I too remember the early days of Fred when I was in high school, so many years ago. He ran a campaign of ads on the radio of innuendoes against the other candidates. Held himself out as a private detective and claimed that he evidence of corruption and malfeasant against City officials that he would bring to light through out course of the campaign. These charges however, never came to fruition.
Along the lines of being a P.I., he assigned himself the moniker “The Shadow”.
He was a nut then, he is still a nut now.

On a good day Fred is crazy as a loon. Listened to his ads as a kid, knew he was nuts back in the late 60s.

BTW Fred, I’m not the candidate running for office, YOU are. Perhaps YOU want to stop telling Beacon Hill war stories and start answering questions to the voters of this city.
