Just to add to the plot, we heard a rumor that Brian Martin wants the position. Has anyone else heard that? Other then that, the gossip around the Voke is that it is definitely an inside job. O’Hare does seem to be a nice man - but he and Laferriere just don’t get it , nor do they want to “get it”. Which means that the hubbie and I are hoping for some new blood to run against them.

Brian Martin may “want it” but will only “get it” over my dead body! Mr. Martin not only does not have the license for headmaster of LHS but he does not have the vocational school supt. license either! I have been closely monitoring the GLTHS search. The search subcommittee has said that any applicants who do not have the required licenses and other prerequisites will be automatically eliminated and not even make the cut for a screening interview. If I learn of an “unqualified” candidate making it past initial screening you *will* hear about my protest!

You and Leo need to stop listening to the so called gossip from the Voke misfits who should be spending more time teaching that calling you people. Brian Martin has not even asked for an application ok and he probably will not. As far as you saying Mr. OHare is a nice guy isn’t that what you said about your neighbor Mike Hayden and even sign his re- election papers and then went against him. Boy you people are real soild

That’s all great that Mr.OHare seems like a nice man, but a nice man does not act like his appointment as search committee chairman,gives him the right to not accept anyone’s idea or suggestion,it does make it seem that the choice on who and how to do the ’search’ is his.
I know there have been instances that people sign papers for a political hopeful, but do not vote for them!it’s their perrogitive-you know what I mean Joe?

Joe- we did not sign Hayden’s re-election papers. Haven’t talked to the man in a while- so there goes that story. No-one called us from the Voke either, The hubbie and I see people from the Voke all the time- at the Mall, in White Hen, etc. and they most certainly have freedom of speech the last time I heard. And I said O’Hare “seemed” like a nice guy - but that does not mean I agree with the way he is handling this thing. We totally disagree, feel that the public should should know more about what is going on and should have some input. And you should have noticed that I asked if anyone else had heard the same rumor as we did think is was a rather an interesting turn. We have also been told that Martin is very close to getting the certification he needed- but don’t know if that is true or not. And Joe - I have absolutely no idea who you are.
