Gov. Patrick at the Owl Diner

by at 4:11 pm.

Governor Patrick is coming to Lowell for his first kickoff event, 8am this Saturday (April 10th) at the Owl Diner. This is a day of kickoff events, as the Governor will be at other events (North Shore, Boston) later on that day, so pretty cool that he also chose Lowell to host a kickoff event as well. This will be a meet and greet, with some short remarks by the Governor.

I’ll see you there! There’s not much I’d get up that early on a Saturday for so if I can do it, so can you! :)

If the gov shakes hands with all those pols that hang around the Owl, he should count his fingers before he leaves. Pawtucketville Diner has much better foor anyways and NO Bud Caulfield.

  2. Lynne Says:

Yeah I was wondering about it being the Owl, LOL, but I doubt he or his campaign staff realize the underlying er, history…

  3. openyoureyes Says:

I hope he chokes on his ham steak. He will probably be like his idol Barack Hussein and wonder where is the arugala

  4. RUDY Says:

Thanks for the tip, i wlll make sure
i dont go to the OWL on saturday.

  5. Lynne Says:

Wow, personal attacks that are meaningless! You are so smart, openyoureyes!

  6. lovemyshiba Says:

what’s the underlying history at the Owl Diner?

  7. Lynne Says:

LOL, well, it’s 100% GOB central. Generally.

Sorta like Skip’s Restaurant once upon a time…

It’s a place to see and be seen by that crowd. In fact, Pangy held his last big event there just after he announced he was stepping down. Apparently, McDonnogh missed my last web class attending that (too bad, it was a damn good last class).

But pretty good food and of course, its customers include a lot of normal, jus’ regular folks who live in the neighborhood.

  8. lovemyshiba Says:

Lynne, thanks :-) I thought it was something much worse LOL! I just go there for the food, definitely not the politics.

  9. Maggie Says:

I wonder if the Gov knows that there have been break-ins to cars in the parking lot near-by. Wonder if the Trooper bodyguard will keep the bad guys away. As for Patrick, I am not totally thrilled with him.

  10. Lynne Says:

Out of curiosity, why is that, Maggie?

  11. joe from Lowell Says:

“Pretty good food?” Lynne, duels have been fought for less! Those GOB mofos sure can make an omelette.

“He will probably be like his idol Barack Hussein and wonder where is the arugala”

Ha ha, he eats good food! Get it? Get it?

  12. openyoureyes Says:

No actually it means he is an elitist snob

  13. Lynne Says:

Right, because he was smart and got into good schools, then worked to help the poor of his community, he MUST be an elitist!

You do know how nutty you sound right?

  14. joe from Lowell Says:

“No actually it means he is an elitist snob”

…you know, because he eats good food!

Real Americans mix rock salt with coal slag, and then put ketchup on it. GRRRRR!!!!!
