Quite the stud:
The Republican senator took a break from his re-election campaign to complete the sprint triathlon, which consists of a swim of one-third of a mile on the Merrimack River, a 13-mile bike ride and a 4-mile run through Lowell and Tyngsboro.
This was his second year in a row Brown competed in the race.
“It’s always nice to ride around the streets of Lowell,” he said after the race. “The people are very supportive. The policemen are very encouraging, always there to give me a helping hand.”

When I first saw the headline, my mind quipped, “Which one of our state rep’s was carrying Scott’s jock?”
But, then I clicked in and found it was Jerry Flynn. (*A mentor has vouched for Jerry Flynn. So, for scornfully throwing him into the mix, I apologize. I get cross eyed with rage at those I consider to be “Hooray for me Democrats;” which are those that benefit from progressive policies, but vote conservative. Imho, union members have no justification for supporting a politician that would bust a union. Scott Brown is a union buster. In the future, I’ll be more concise about any beef I have with NEPBA and their endorsement process. )
