Update: ‘The Fighter’ bails on Brown
“I can’t support Scott Brown,” Ward said. “I just can’t do it.”
Within 30 minutes, Ward either did some Googling or someone close to him reminded him about where Brown stood on some hot-button political topics.
“I found out Scott (Brown) is anti-union and I’m a Teamster guy,” said Ward. “I found out he’s also against gay marriage and I say if you love someone you should have the same rights no matter who you are.”

I’m with you, PC! I am very happy that Micky had the “guts” to back off on his original plans to endorse Brown when he learned of Brown’s stand on particular issues. People really need to look at Brown’s voting record (before and after Elizabeth Warren’s announcement to run against him) and it will be very clear that he is definitely not as bipartisan as he claims. Thank you, Micky Ward!

I think there are a lot of people in Mickey Ward’s position. This is a familiar story. My own mother, who told me “I love Scott Brown,” is voting for Warren, because she found out how conservative Brown is on economic issues.
He’s a nice guy, and probably honest when he says he wants to work in a bipartisan manner in Congress, but he just doesn’t believe what most Massachusetts voters believe.

Controversy over an endorsement from Micky Ward.
Elizabeth Warren hanging out at Ramalho’s.
All I can do is shake my head.
