Open Thread: Ms. Heinous Edition

by at 12:06 pm.

I was going to write about the dust up between myself and Deb Forgione. But, Cliff Krieger has a diary finished, so let’s take this squabble over to his blog: Right Side of Lowell.

Please talk about anything, other than Ms. Heinous on this Open Thread.

This Trojan Horse should be called, “Plan Ugg.”

City needs Plan A, strong mayor

As a lifelong resident of Lowell, I am concerned about the direction of the city. Although the city’s current financial condition seems stable, many other functions within city government seem unstable and lack overall leadership and respect. The city manager is under contract and his future - as well as Lowell’s - will be a major topic in the 2013 municipal election.

I am concerned with the majority of the Lowell City Council and their lack of desire to manage the city manager. It is a primary function in a Plan E form of government and a majority of the council seems disinterested in doing so. In essence, I see that Plan E is failing and it’s time for a change.

    I saw that, Jack.

Along with having an elected official run City Hall, I propose we also change the city’s motto from “Art in the Handmaid of Human Good” to “Hey, I went to school with your sister!”

  3. Paul@01852 Says:

Are you sure it shouldn’t be called “Plan SockPuppet” instead?

  4. Jack Says:

Gee Paul, you sure get a lot of mileage of that. ;v)

I’ve been throwing around, “Plan Ugg.”

NRA calls for armed police officer in every school.

Not to say that I’m at all surprised….
