I did not call the Sun about Mr. Lang, they called me. As far as the two quotes about Mr. Lang I was asked, ““Do the Lang hirings appear to be a conflict?” and “If the superintendent was out of district or incapacitated, would Jay Lang, as deputy superintendent be the supervisor of his wife and sister.?” They then took the yes responses and made them my quotes. I did not initiate those and Sara Favot never did that.
Maybe that’s some ol’ timey Edward R. Murrow tradecraft, right there?!
