Call Him What He Is…

by at 12:30 pm.

Dick’s been on a roll lately, his latest is to take on the “email controversy.” The one being literally drummed up out of nothingness by Rodney Elliot.

Go read Dick’s very detailed and thorough post. It’s pretty awesome.

I’m not only writing this blog post to point out this piece you want to read, but also, because I’m going to call Rodney Elliot what he is:

The term is: unhinged.

Get out the vote, people. Seriously.

Does this mean that there is actually someone out there who can actually read the print/contrast on the city’s new website and find their way to the Councilor’s email?

  2. Gail Says:

I remember when the city used to have to print E-mail out for councilors because many councilors did not have E-mail at the time. I sent something to the city through the new system and got an E-mail back telling me to call the person who had not previously been able to answer my question -and the reason that I had used the system in the first place. I did not get a response to the E-mail that I then sent directly to the person who responded to my question through the website. It was around the time the website changed over and it is horrible.

  3. Eleanor Rigby Says:

Rodney Elliot will be re-elected. Probably with the second highest vote total behind Rita.

Because both he and Rita pander and make a lot of noise.

They are also Sun favorites (because they make outrageous statements which makes for good copy).

Even though the Sun’s circulation is dropping and only a small minority of people in Lowell read the paper or its blog for most VOTERS it is still their primary source of news. (Campi made a statement a while back that 90% or so of city VOTERS read the Sun and he’s probably right).

So I believe your focus should not be getting Rodney defeated because as I said that won’t happen, it should be preventing him from becoming the next Mayor of the City of Lowell.
