Bad Old Days Redux

by at 12:57 pm.

Oh, no wonder the Rourkite-Belangeresque-Tippah wing of the City Council wanted to tie Bernie Lynch’s hands and prevent him from adding any Boards and Commissions appointments! Because Lynch would never appoint Robert McMahon back to the recent opening at the LHA - having declined to renew McMahon years ago. Robert McMahon, for those who don’t recall, also had a failed bid for City Council the year that Kazanjian and Lenzi won. He is very tied in with that whole GOB crew, and their supposed ethics (or lack thereof).

When I said these guys wanted their buddies back in power, was I lying? Two weeks into the new Council session and McMahon’s name is already being floated around for an appointment to a board he was, let’s say, quietly booted off by virtue of his term expiring nice and quick after the Cox admin left.

New verse, same as the first…

They should change the motto from “Art is the Handmaid of Human Good” to “Hey, I went to school with your sister.”

Is it bad that for a second, I was looking for the Like button?
